International Duties and Taxes:
When shipping internationally, please be aware that your order may be subject to customs duties and taxes imposed by your destination country. These charges are typically based on the value of the goods, including shipping costs. Here are some examples of different countries we found that may not be up to date:
New Zealand: Imports are subject to Goods and Services Tax (GST) and possible duty. For low-value goods (under NZD 1,000), GST is typically collected at the point of sale by the seller. For goods over this threshold, customs duties may apply.
Cook Islands, Fiji, French Polynesia, Kiribati, Nauru, Niue, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tokelau, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, Wallis & Futuna: These countries often impose duties and taxes on imported goods, typically based on the value of the goods, including shipping costs. Specific thresholds and rates vary, so it's advisable for customers to check with their local customs authority.
New Caledonia: Imports are subject to Value Added Tax (VAT) and potential customs duties based on the value of the goods.
Ireland and United Kingdom: Both countries impose VAT and may charge customs duties on goods above certain thresholds. For instance, in Ireland, customs duties are calculated based on the CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) value of the goods.
Canada and United States: Both countries have duty-free thresholds (CAD 20 for Canada and USD 800 for the U.S.). Goods above these values may be subject to customs duties and taxes.
Even though these charges may be subject to certain thresholds, they are the responsibility of the buyer. We recommend checking with your local customs authority for more detailed information and guidance.
Limitations and Exceptions:
We cannot be held responsible for losses due to delays or failures in delivery, including incorrect quantities. We reserve the right to refuse delivery or cancel orders if there are issues with payment or account activity. Orders may also be held if products are believed to cause harm, damage, or infringe on intellectual property rights.
Carriers:
We primarily use Australia Post for shipping orders, but the specific carrier may vary based on your location.
Order Tracking:
If a tracking number is provided by the carrier, we will update your order with this information. Not all orders will have tracking numbers. If your order does not arrive within the expected timeframe, please contact the carrier using the reference number provided.
Missing Orders:
If your order hasn't arrived after the estimated delivery time, contact us with your order number, name, and shipping details. We will investigate with the carrier and, if the item cannot be located, we will replace your order and dispatch a new item on the next available business day.
Express Shipping Rates:
Shipping costs will be displayed at checkout. You can choose to proceed or cancel your order based on this information.
