x-Filtra GTE4H Engine Mount x 2

I bought these engine mounts after I found the number GTE1H on a pair of mounts that went through 2 cars as some used spares I had laying around. Many years later forward to now, I removed one mount to replace with a modded one I am experimenting with and noticed the aforementioned part number on it and recalled that they were used.

I checked the date on them, 2009 ! And they were still in usable condition and no breakage or loss of oil that I often see. They had probably 300,000km on them. I never seen anything like this as I normally replacing them every few years due to rubber breakage or bursting hydraulic oil from harsh use.

I had been lazy leaving them in for so long, but actually they didn't need replacing and ended up an accidental long term nearly multi decade endurance test, yes they were sagged but still not bottomed out, with 5mm of clearance remaining on the pin. For my new car project I went ahead and got another pair hoping they still made these the same. You can tell the rubber is decent as these don't stink like cheap rubber does with that obvious pungent musty smell, these also have much more rubber around the top of the safety pin cavity compared to genuine and other brands which restricts how much they can stretch under load which ironically is exactly the mod I made to my experimental test mount, these already have that in their design!

So they should serve well in performance applications where one doesn't want harsh billet mounts but needs OEM damping along with less movement for things like tight headers etc... FYI the price is unbeatable too! I've attached the pic of the one from 2009 as proof on the long lasting quality. Both mounts were just as good as each other.

I ordered the part via the application chart attached but bugger, it didn’t fit my vehicle and it was clearly on the list.
